ABOUT US

Chinchero Boutique Hotel and Tours was founded in 2018. Our family-run business includes a 3* hotel alongside a tour company offering over 25 unforgettable trips to the most exciting sites in this part of Peru – from visits to the stunning regional capital of Cusco to the magnificent ruins of Machu Picchu. Chinchero Boutique is run by a Peruvian family, descendants from Quechua People, and born in the small community of Chinchero – famous for its extensive Inka ruins, 17th-century colonial church, vibrant Sunday food and textiles market and numerous local textile producers. Our primary objective is to offer you an amazing experience and provide you with the best comfort during your stay. We will give you a unique experience –  contact with local people – so you can learn about their centuries-old traditions and customs.

LOCATION

Chinchero boutique hotel is located 28 kilometers from the City of Cuzco, in the province of Urubamba, Department of Cuzco, and before reaching the Sacred Valley of the Incas ( the Urubamba River) known as the land of rainbow, It is currently a tourist attraction for its typical, traditional and authentic market every Sunday, that in its origin was dominated by the exchange of products among the inhabitants of the area, the colonial church of the seventeenth century and its textile art of the Inca era that is teaching us step by step the unique experience of this place, most important its ceremonial center and archaeological site of the same name.

Sie waren immer aufmerksam darauf, was wir brauchten. Sie gaben uns Empfehlungen verschiedener Art und waren immer gut erreichbar. Die Kommunikation lief perfekt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden darüber, dass wir da bleiben durften. ☹Alles war super. Wir haben keine Beschwerden.

Nos encantó el hotel y conocer a Edgar y a su familia. ☺Nos encantó nuestra estancia en este hotel y conocer a Edgar y a su familia. Llegamos un poco tarde y cansados y allí nos estaba esperando Edgar, con una muy buena acogida. Al preguntarle por sitios donde cenar y decirle que estábamos cansados y queríamos algo fácil y cercano, Edgar se ofreció a ir él mismo a conseguirnos la cena. Así pues, 15min más tarde, nos entregó nuestra cena en la habitación, lo que nos pareció un detalle enorme. La habitación era muy amplia y la cama comodísima! Justo lo que necesitábamos! Recomiendo 100%, volvería a repetir!

☺Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Chinchero. Das Personal (die Eigentümerin mit ihrem Sohn) war extrem freundlich und das Frühstück war richtig toll und für peruanische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig.

Familjärt och fräscht ☺Varmt och familjärt mottagande! Stor varm säng med tillgång till extra filtar och en ren och fräsch toalett. Fint med en trädgård i anslutning till hotellet och att välkomnas in av en familj.

Can’t recommend enough This is my second time traveling Peru with Edgar. His hotel is super clean and very nice. Him and his family took care of anything I needed. They all treated me like family while I was there. Chinchero is a beautiful place with many things to do. I look forward to coming back a third time. Edgar is also a very knowledgeable tour guide and I’d recommend him to anyone if they were spending time in Peru.

Warm environment with hospitality. The Chinchero Boutique Hotel is excellent. Staff Edgar and his family create warm atmosphere with hospitality to feel at home. Hotel and rooms are almost new ( 2020-2022 ), clean and well designed. We recommend this hotel with high score. Edgar, thanks for hospitality.

A knowlege filled tour We initially booked a full day tour of Machu Picchu with Edgar, but days before we arrived the site was closed indefinitely.We opted, in lieu of a refund, to go on a tour to several alternate historical sites.Edgar showed himself to be profoundly knowledgeable of Incan culture, and was able to offer contemporary insight into all of the places we visited.

Sanctuary in Cusco Highly recommend the Chinchero Boutique Hotel! Edgar and his family have created a safe, clean and awesomely comfortable space in this quickly growing little town. Their conscientiousness and kindness makes you feel heard and considered which is so nice in this day and age. My bed was respite! Sooooo comfortable. If Chinchero is on your list, this hotel and its sweet owners will hold you in comfort & sweetness. Will definitely be staying there again!

Trip of a lifetime Me and my wife have travelled all over the world and the wonderful trip to Cusco was the best. Edgar was one of the reasons for that. He is a wonderful tour guide who makes sure every concern you may have is taken care of. The daily tours he gave us provided a deeply personal journey into the beautiful Andean culture and heritage. Truly magical! Though we did not stay at the hotel in Chinchero we did stop by and met his wife. The hotel is new and inviting. Cozy, welcoming family-owned business My mother and I stayed at Chinchero Boutique Hotel with our two neighbors as part of a package with Inkayni Tours. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in this lovely little town! Edgar and his wife, Carolina, were warm and welcoming from the beginning, giving us all hugs as we entered. Carolina even made us an amazing quinoa and vegetable soup (hands down the best meal I had in Peru) for dinner for a small fee (15 sols per person). Edgar, who is a tour guide in addition to being the owner of the hotel, had to leave early the morning after we arrived, but he graciously spent what little time he had with us sharing everything he knew about the town and the Andean culture, as well as personal stories about growing up in the mountains. The rooms themselves were very nice — there were some minor imperfections (e.g. the water in the shower took a while to become warm), but I appreciated that Edgar was aware of them and informed us about how to deal with them before we were assigned our rooms. It’s a shame we only got to stay here for one night, as I would have loved to spend more time with this very sweet family.

The Chinchero boutique hotel makes you feel like family. Edgar and his family were so sweet and welcoming. It does get chilly at night in chinchero so bring warm clothing or be sure to speak up and ask for an extra blanket or have him turn on the heater in the main dining area. There are also small heaters in the rooms. We spent the evening sipping wine and playing card games in the dining area. Edgar who speaks English well, explained alot about their culture and the importance of community and family. This shines through in his business as well. I wished we could stay longer.

Outstanding Hotel in Chinchero Extremely nice hosts, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, quiet surroundings and near to town center. We can highly recommend the hotel for its charm and the lovely family who is owning the place. Also near to the local lake!
