BOOKING POLICIES

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Conditions valid until December 31, 2021, except for changes and modifications notified through our website.
  • Rates expressed in Peruvian Soles (PEN – S /) and USD (USD – $), subject to the internal exchange rate in effect on the day the settlement of our services is sent.
  • All bookings at Chinchero Boutique are prepaid. We require a 30% deposit to confirm bookings, and the remaining balance shall be paid upon arrival at the hotel or when your tour begins.
  • VAT (IGV) is NOT applied to these rates as the establishment is exempt.
  • Our accommodation and program rates are the same for national and foreign residents or non-residents.
  • Our booking and cancellation policies distinguish between High Season (TA) and Low Season (TB)(*). TA: all holidays and festive days throughout the year.
  • Check In, Check Out and Day Use (*)
    Check In: 11:00 | Check Out: 10:00
    (*) Unless another time is specified in writing at the time of booking.
  • The Day Use rate (Early Check In or Late Check Out) is 50% of the room price; this must be coordinated with the company.
  • If the guest does not vacate the room at the established Check Out time, the Late Check Out or Day Use rate will be automatically charged.
  • In the event that the guest vacates after 18:00 h, the full rate will be charged. Furthermore, the property reserves the right to remove the guest's personal belongings from the room once the Check Out time has expired. Subject to availability.
  • Children aged 5 and over pay as adults.
  • Children under 5 years old are free (no seat or meals included).
  • Children aged 0 to 4 years and 11 months sharing a room with their parents are free of charge (age must be proven with an identity document).

2. BOOKING REQUEST

Booking requests must include the following information:

  • Full name and nationality of the guest.
  • ID card, foreign registration card or passport.
  • Contact mobile number.
  • Requested room type.
  • Arrival and departure dates.
  • Origin, flight number and arrival/departure time, or bus company name including origin and schedules, as applicable.
  • Photo of purchased tickets (air or land).
  • RUC number and address if a Factura (invoice) is required.

3. PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • FULL PAYMENT before CHECK IN.
  • PAYMENT METHOD: Deposit into BCP account in the name of: Chinchero Boutique.

4. CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION AND REFUND POLICY

In case of cancellation of a booking (Hotel Only), the following refund policy applies, based on the starting date of the reserved program or accommodation:

Individuals More than 20 days 16 to 30 days No show / 15 days
Groups (*) More than 30 days 31 to 60 days No show / 30 days
  • For Hotel + Tours packages, modifications are only accepted with 15 days' notice, only once per booking. No refunds allowed.
  • The time frame for processing a refund is 15 days from the date of the modification request.
  • A booking will only be considered cancelled or modified if writing confirmation is received from our booking office; otherwise, it is not valid.
  • Any request for a change in the booking date must be made during the current year.

5. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS

  • The company is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by weather conditions, strikes or social conflicts, rescheduling or cancellations by the airline or transport company and/or guests' personal reasons; in all these cases, our cancellation policy will apply.
  • For guests with specific dietary requirements, the agency must inform at least 15 days ahead of time. Our company reserves the right to inform if we can meet these requirements and if they involve an additional cost.
  • Our company takes all precautions to ensure our clients' safety but is not responsible for damages or injuries that may occur during activities developed during the tours.
  • Users of our services must assume all risks inherent in adventure activities and cultural tours in rural areas.
  • Clients must commit to behaving with due diligence. For all of the above, our company and employees disclaim any responsibility for damages, injuries and/or harm that may occur during the activities carried out on their tours.
  • Breakfast service is free for guests between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m.; if the guest wishes to have service after this time, it will be charged to their account.
  • Room cleaning is done between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to guarantee a clean and comfortable room; if the guest does not want cleaning service, they must inform reception.
  • For group bookings, for every 15 people (PAX), 1 free guest applies, sharing a matrimonial, double or triple room.

6. INTERNAL HOTEL POLICIES

  • It is essential to have registered as a guest by presenting your documents before occupying the room.
  • Please leave the room door well closed and hand in the key at reception every time you leave the hotel.
  • Chinchero Boutique Hotel is not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry or other valuables that the guest leaves in the room.
  • For your safety, the hotel offers a safe custody service at reception.
  • Before leaving the hotel, guests should wait a moment for their room to be checked.
  • We recommend settling your accounts sufficiently in advance to avoid waits and delays.
  • Washing or ironing in the rooms is not allowed.
  • Animals are not allowed inside the hotel facilities.
  • Please take precautions not to leave faucets open and to disconnect electrical appliances.
  • The entry of minors without an identity document as required by law is prohibited.
